How to get here
Ty Blaidd can be found part way up the valley side on the edge of the village of Penmachno which is 4 miles from Betws-y-Coed.
On entering the village of Penmachno, continue past the school on the left hand side and past the following row of houses and parked cars, just as the road bends right there is a little lane on your left hand side just before the Machno Inn. (If you cross the bridge in the centre of the village you have gone too far.)
Go up this single track lane which bends almost immediate left and goes uphill for a few 100 yards. You pass the odd property on the way and eventually you will come to a small cluster of houses on a small junction with another narrow lane going off to the left.
At this little junction is Ty Blaidd, the large slate coloured detached house to your right. There is a slate sign in the grass verge by the open gate. Drive into the gravel drive way and make your way up to the house where your host will be delighted to meet you.
